Academy Highlights

Our Gala Fundraiser showcasing the thriving talent being nurtured at the Academy was a huge success, attended by government representatives, NGOs, members of the public and the First Lady of The Gambia. 

Our student Rohey Badjie launches her product line called Our Heritage Our Power, dedicated to using Gambian-grown ingredients to create a beautiful range of soaps and creams that  promote instilling pride in natural African beauty. 

Phase 1 of construction of dedicated Academy campus was completed and officially opened in October 2025. 

Our student was crowned Gambia's Miss Heritage 2025, and invited to represent Gambia at a pageant in India

Our International Student accommodation units were completed for oversees students. 

Our students won the celebrated Gambia’s Got Talent competition, which was screened on National TV. 

The Academy began its digital transition, moving staff and students online

The German President made an exclusive visit to the Gambia Academy, praising our commitment to educational reform and cultural preservation. 

​Students travelled to Italy to represent The Gambia for UNICEF event that was screened on National Italian TV, marking the start of UNICEF's partnership with the Gambia Academy.
